Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Young Bun
Hi everyone
i hope you are well and enjoyed the festivities :)

I was cleaning luckys hutch out last and off he went into the corner of the room to do some poops, when i cleaned them i noticed that there was a tiny bit of what looks like diarrhea there. It was like little tiny balls in a soft paste like substance.

Other than that he is eating, drinking and playing normally.

I have gone to feed him tonight and there is a little bit more about a quarter of a teaspoon worth. Should i be worried?

Thanks

Do you mean cecotrophs the soft poo that a Rabbit should eat directly from his/her bum or true diarrhoea ?

Thank you for your reply and the link.

Now i have seen the pictures the poops look like the first pictures of the normal ones. Feel better now, I knew that he ate them but i have never seen them before aren't they supposed to eat them all? Does rabbit diarrhea look like normal watery stuff that humans have? Sorry if i round thick and wasting your time but first bunny and a bit worried.

If you keep on finding uneaten cecals it might be you are overfeeding bunny. If so, please come back for more help on how much to feed.
