bunnies and vets ...barc bunny update including PATRICK PUMPKIN

bunnymadhouse

Wise Old Thumper
*sigh*

after an eventful week heres how things are ...

A pair of 5 yr old french lop girlies went in to be spayed today .. Dolly and Dottie ...
Sadly one had a mammory tumour ...thankfuly benign ...and the other a uterine tumour ...sadly this one was nasty and is most likely cancerous . We can only hope it hasnt spread .:(

Charlie went back for a check after a week with a buster collar on after taking out his neuter stitches ..:?..thankfuly all seems fine now ... phew .

Anmd then theres Patrick pumpkin ....

poor poor little lad ...
Our vet saw him for the fist time yesterday (it was another vet who initialy saw him and mended the damage to his mouth).. his mouth is healing well thank goodness . he can eat normaly now ...but the previous vet left in his lower incisors ... :? so he is off for them burring on monday as of course they are already getting long .
Also ...sadly...it seems he has an older injury to his hip or pelvis ... resulting in one leg being turned in and quite significantly shorter than the other . :(...it seems he has lead an accident prone ...or a very sad life .. :(

Oh goodness, you have had a busy time. Poor Patrick, he does sound to have had a bad time  But I bet he is feeling better already, it must be such a relief to be able to eat again without lots of pain from a sore mouth.

What a week! At least they all have a chance now they're with you. Poor little Patrick, he must think he's in bunny heaven already to be cared for after such a miserable start.

:( Poor Patrick. I dread to think. Sending him loads of healing vibes and he will have happiness now he has you.

Hope your girls will be fine. xxx
