We're taking Poppy to the vets later as her sneezing is becoming more frequent again and we have no more medicine left, only a bit of metacam.
We need to clean her bum too, she's eating loads more pellets but because she doesn't eat hay the poops are quite soft and it gets stuck on her bum and she needs a bit of help. The metacam has been helping after her broken tooth cut into her mouth.
Our vet said she will be more than happy to order in some septrin (is it called septrin? :lol: if not I hope you know what I mean!) for us to try and I read a thread the other day and baytril doesn't help as much if they have short, regular bursts of it. She has only had 1 week of it and 2 2 weeks of baytril this year. (One of those weeks she had a higher dosage so it was more like 11 days)
I'm going to ask about ordering septrin for us, but would Poppy be okay with baytril for the period before or should we leave it and just have some more metacam?
