Well I'm sure some of you know that Heather's partner Harry died a couple of weeks back, so I have started trying to bond her with my other pair, so they can all live together in their shed and aviary. They've been together since Wednesday and while there are still a few little bickers and humps, it's mostly calm - I even managed to get someone sleep last night :lol:
Here's how they started (Heather is the harlequin)
Then Dudley decided it was time to take charge
They got nearer to each other
And then last night I had a peep and found them all sat together like this
We're still not 100% there yet but I think the signs are positive enough, so hopefully the urge to hump and nip will calm down soon, and hopefully the change of weather will help as they'll probably feel too hot to bother :lol:
