Jenova
Wise Old Thumper
Sorry the title is a bit rubbish.
She had the lump removed from her stomach on Tuesday. It was pretty nasty and her whole stomach has been shaved and she has stitches all the way up like she's been spayed. I've never had a rabbit spayed or have these sort of stitches before so I'm just after some advice. She has the run on my room but it's all on one level. I really need to put them outside so I can let out the chinchillas and clean them out but I don't know how long to leave it. I was supposed to be doing the chinnies when I found the lump on Sunday! Outside is dirty and there are lots of levels for them to jump around. How long would you leave it before she goes out?
I'm thinking two weeks to fully heal but then the chinnies are cooped up and stinky. I might lock the rabbit in the dog crate for half an hour to let them heave a run and clean them, but then I'd be worried about biting noses through the bars...
