Mama Doe
Blossom hadn't been right for a couple of days, and looked like she was likely to stop eating (getting slow at eating her food, not so active). The vet gave her a thorough examination and thankfully found no signs of the RTI Honey has, although I had heard Blossom sneeze a couple of times.
In fact, other than Blossom's temperature being low, and her heart rate a bit slow, the only thing he found was some mites (she has been itching for a couple of days now, as have all my buns). He seemed to think that she may have had a bad scare from a cat or fox. Do her symptoms sound like a scare or shock?
Anyway, she got an injection to stimulate her appetite, vitamins, and a steroid injection. I did question the steroid injection, since there was no diagnosis, but he said it was fine since her temperature was low.
All the buns are getting treated with xeno 450 for the mites.
We're waiting on results from tests on Honey to see if there is anything that Blossom could be starting up.
Any vibes or thoughts?
