Girl cats like things on their own terms...they are schizophrenic and will bestow love and affection when they feel like it.

Our last girl cat was the most affectionate thing ever
Gorgeous tort called Zanoblia Zablioni (Zsi Zsi for short!). She'd lay there for hours on end while you tickled her belly The only time she ever hurt me was when I was about 8 and tried to pick her up! Claw straight into my knuckle!
