But the poll does say "on RU" i.e. outside of seeking direct vet advice. I agree that your own experienced vet SHOULD be the first and primary source, I am just curious about how people interpret advice on RU - if you start a thread on a particular issue and people who post don't agree, how do you decide who to listen to?

Hmmm in that case I think I would want advice from someone who has experienced the thing I am wanting advice from. Hmmm in that case I think I would want advice from someone who has experienced the thing I am wanting advice from. But would still trust my vet over a forum member in most cases
