No they are safe to eat.

you should see what my 2 have done to the marigolds in the garden :lol: fortunaately I bought them with buunies in mind to stop them from eating other stuff that they shouldn't.
if theres any left I will be drying some for the winter (great tip from other RU members)

Basil eats loads of Calendula, he really like the flowers as well as the leaves. when he was very ill, I really feel that his herbal diet helped him through it. I am also drying some for the winter.
