parsnipbun
Wise Old Thumper
Ok - last year we managed to get a vet student who was specialising in buns to come and supposedly look after the buns while we had a week off - in fact Viola Rose came down with myxi the day the student arrived and we all stayed and nursed her and looked after the others . . so no holiday (but success for VR as she pulled through).
THIS year the vet student we had last year won't be around and as last year we found it REALLY difficult to find one that knew anything about buns (one student cheerfully remarked she could brush them daily and clip their nails - NONE of mine have EVER had their nail clipped or needed it and most would expire from shock at the sight of a brush!!) . . but we would really really really like a week away. . . or even 5 days . . .
Does ANYONE with LOTS of rabbit experience want to come and live in Cambridge for 10 days and get PAID for it??? some time over this summer.
Just the small matter of 18 buns to look after . . . it is a full time job really - but afternoons off to explore etc
May be able to have an outdoor hutch and aviary run if bringing own buns or keep in bedroom if house trained.
Must be able to spot an ill bun from 50 paces.
