I've noticed in the last few days that Leo's fur is getting a little matted on his back feet- he has no incisors, so obviously he can't sort this out himself very easily. He does have quite fluffy back feet anyway, which isn't great. They aren't matted with poo, just where the fur is beginning to moult, it is ending up getting tangled together in what I can only describe as dreadlocks. Of course, being such an awkward place it isn't easy to attempt to brush or comb it out, so we've managed to cut a few off, but obviously this isn't really 'safe'. Is there any easy ways to untangled the fur and remove it? Eg, would somehow washing them help? I want to sort this out before the summer hits and the flies arrive ideally. Thanks
