Hay Bales

Hi there,

I'm going to use the farm bales of hay to feed and put in litter trays. Before I go and buy some- For anyone that uses them - About how long do they last?

Mine last about 10 weeks (a slice a week), where I put hay all over their 6ftx2ft hutch, get fresh hay in their bedroom and litter tray daily.

I have 2 buns and 2 gp's and a bale lasts me about 3 weeks. The buns have 3 litter trays each changed at least every 2 days plus 2 big handfuls twice a day each and the pigs have a big handful daily plus use it for bedding in their bedroom which I change once or twice a week. Hope thats not to much information but thought it might help you gauge how far it goes.
