Alpha Buck
I told the vet re the mix up over the weekend and they said that was fine - as it was so early (if she was pregnant) so I have left her at the vet. I have to ring between 1 - 2 to check (if they dont ring me first) and then see what time I can pick her up. Fingers crossed that all is/will go okay ... Bugs is missing her already x x
Just spoken to the vets, she is awake and seems fine I am allowed to pick her up at 5pm so it gives them a chance to see her eating and if more pain relief is needed etc. I asked re the pregnancy and they said her ovaries were 'enlarged' which is a sign that she could well have been pregnant.
2 rabbits sorted now, 2 more to go x x
Update: been checking on her throughout the night and it doesn't seem like she has eaten anything. She seems okay in herself (looking a bit sorry for herself but that is to be expected?) but when do I worry re the not eating? The vet said that she did eat yesterday after the op. She has an appointment later at the vet today (for a check up) would that be okay or should I ring them sooner?
Update: 28/04/09 12.26pm phew! feeling a bit better, just spent ages outside with Star trying to temp her with all sorts! Finally curly kale has done the trick! She still hasn't eaten loads but I have seen her eat something and drink some water (i put a bowl in right next to her). There is a few more poo's in the hutch but I can see any 'damp' patches?
Update 28/04/09 6.20pm Just got back from the vets and all is looking good! They said she is looking really bright, there was poo in the carrier and the guts felt good. They gave her pain releif and the 'gut moving' jab and I have to go back tomorrow if she doesn't eat 'normal' tomorrow .....
