Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Campanion Care Vets - Chichester

Biscuit Bunny

Alpha Buck
Hi there

This is a long shot, currently I live in Petersfield and go to the Portsmouth Campanion Care clinic, my vet is Mackie (very rabbit savvy) but the others there are also good.

We may be moving house to Midhurst West Sussex in the next couple of months, I have rung the RWAF and they have no rabbit vets recommended in that area (there is a animal hospital there, but no bunny recommendations). She said it may be worth trying another campanion care one, I have found one in Chichester, does anyone know if this is any good?

Many thanks, sorry for the long waffle.

How far are you prepared to go. If its upto 25miles, i would go to Seers Croft near Horsham. I know the vets there, 1 is a CertZooMed.

Ooo thank you :D

Well we were travelling from Petersfield to Andover which took an hour sometimes over, then we moved to Portsmouth vets which currently takes half an hour.

But maybe moving to Midhurst so the vet in Portsmouth is now further away, and Biscuit hates travelling and would be nice to find a really good vet close to home just in case of an emergency.
