Bunny Bonding - Body Language

Hi Guys

When my female rabbit (spayed) sees the male rabbit she does a little squeak and thumps her back leg. Then they have a little cuddle and then hop away, they do sometimes have a little scrp but nothing major.

does anyone know what it means when she squeaks and thumps?

thumping is normally a sign of alarm & sqeaking too. My nethie sqeaks & stamps though if she doesn't think you've given her enough food or she wants you to pay her some attention.

Generally I'd say it sounds like things are going ok. A bit of chasing & humping & stamping is normal.

thank you for your help. I don't think she's being aggressive when she stamps as they only seem to chase each other if he (12 weeks old unneutered) starts its. not when she stamps
