Easier bonding

Mama Doe
Hopefully Molly will be spayed at the end of the month, i know the health benefits to it but do you think it will make it easier and more successful bonding her with jack who has been neutered after my failed attempt few months ago.

most likely but give it around 4 weeks for the hormones to settle and the wond to be healed ensure that they are on neutral territory and everything in the area is neutral start with a relativly small area...and remember nipping chasing and fur pulling are normal...good luck xx

how about droppping them both into a erscue who specialise in bonding to get them bonded would save you stress and hassel? and you would know they were in safe hands? gives you time to neutralise their permenant home and not worry too much?!

We only have a dogs trust near us and no one in my family drives.

Another question

Does a unneuted female rabbit have a smell that males like, i'm just wondering if its going to go better after Molly is spayed as it was Jacks fault last time.

He may smell her hormones, particular if he was only recently neutered.

If you think smell might be a problem, you could just put a dab of vanilla above their noses so that they can only smell vanilla, and not each other. That can be a valuable bonding tool.
