Is it a weaver bird nest?...my dad worked in cape Town for a while when I was a kid,we had weaver birds in the trees in our garden...they were amazing.

That is one amazing nest.... bet it made the neighbouring birds jealous...:lol:

I have no idea what kind of bird made it but a weaver bird sounds appropriate!!!
