Hi there,
I've been reading this forum and you all seem a very helpful bunch so I'm hoping you can help me out .
My house rabbit only has one descended ball which isn't a problem in itself (he's been checked by the vet on numerous occasions!) but the other day when I was doing a thorough health check and clipping his claws I noticed that his anal scent gland (on the side of the undescended ball) is really 'clogged' and nasty.
I've read a bit on the net about how to clean it but its all a bit conflicted as to whether I should do it all in one go or gradually over a few days.
I know I only need to use warm water and a cotton bud but should I clear the congestion all in one go??
He's a very good bunny and doesn't mind being held etc but I don't want to cause any damage by irritating his skin etc.
Your help would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance
