Pulling out hair!!!

My 10 month old female rabbit Brandy has over the past 2 weeks started pulling her fur out - i haven't caught her doing this but have come home from work and found little bundles of fur all over her cadge - not a massive amount. I was wondering wether this was a phantom pregnancy?? as she has no contact with other rabbits.

Can anyone give any advise wether this is normal - if i need to do anything about it???

Yep, sounds like phantom pregnancy. Just check that her skin looks normal and isn't red or dandruffy as that could be a sign of itchy mites.

Is she spayed? That should help prevent this

as u say tamsin it could be more than a phantom , some rabbits when they are moulting will loose hair in clumps , so a goolook is needed to determin the reason. val
