The Sidmouth sanctuary is just down the road from me (I was born in Sidmouth).
I went there a couple of years ago & saw you could adopt a donkey. I was wondering how that worked - like how do you get them home once adopted. My daughter pointed out that you don't actually take them home. I did feel a bit stupid :lol:
It's nice that it is free entry when you go to visit (for everyone).

I have him too! I used to do a few of them, but I think he's the only one left now, I remember one was called Rosie, another Margarette there was another male one who was really fluffy but I can't remember his name!Timothy, who lives at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth
My grandparents took me there when I was a kid, it's a really nice place

We didn't have time to visit when we were there in 2015, but we drove past the fields Timothy is exactly the sort of donkey I think of when someone says donkey: grey, a bit fluffy (but obviously clipped in this picture!), dark lines and a massive head
