Wise Old Thumper
These little guys were sat on the green bit by the Science Park, nonplussed by the pedestrian traffic on the cut-through path! They even stayed (or came back after a bit in one case) while I stood and took picutres with my little pocket camera.
Three of them, I thought...
Then as I was leaving, I passed the lampost a bloke had just walked past and another jumped out!
I've put this picture of the girl in with the lamppost for perspective  The others are a bit further back towards the road.
There was also a halfbreed goose at Uni Park: they're pretty common but not usually as obviously halfbreed-y as this! The Canadas breed with the greylags at Wollaton Park...
And the goblins (a non-roleplaying mate accidentally referred to goslings as goblins in 2004 and it's kinda stuck with those of us from that friendship group, many of us roleplayers!).
Also baby coots...
One parent was going a good job of diving:
Which was attracting the giant carp, maybe about a dozen of them  They've been that size for a few years, they don't get that much bigger ;P
