Advice Needed ASAP

New Kit
Hi, I'm new to any kind of forum so sorry in advance.

Anyway, i have 2 male mini lops who have lived together since birth - they are now around 4-5months old and are due to be neutered at the same time next Wednesday! Well it's sods law that last night for the first time it seemed they had a small dsagreement and one ended up with a small cut on his privates (ouch) I have consulted the vets! I've read that they need to be seperated but I'm really unsure as they both are fine with each other now, there sleeping together and grooming each other.

Any help and advise is received with thanks :)

Bring forward the neutering? If there is any further sign of fighting before then, I would separate them but - assuming it's not a full on all / the time fall out - maybe separate with just bars between so they have physical contact and can socialise but can't do much damage to each other. Otherwise, give them more to do (eg scatter feed greens and pellets) so they have less time to think about falling out.

Now they have had a fight it's a possibility they will fight again. I wouldn't leave them together unattended personally

I would get them in for neutering asap. Once bucks have fought, there's a chance it will break the bond. The best bond is between neutered male/female. Any other combination can be friable. Hopefully they will be OK together.

What are their names? Welcome to the Forum

I agree with tonibun and also Shimmer's suggestion of trying to bring forward the neutering. Unless it is this Wednesday that they are due to be done ? If so then it's only a couple of days away.
