Parsnip?? Yes or No

~They're on the safe list BUT there was a study recently that said they should have any root vegetables..... but the peelings will be fine :D The RWAF wouldn't have it on their safe list if it wasn't safe x

I don't feed them, but they are on the safe list I go by (a different source to your links, but very similar in details) when introducing a new food. If the RWA say they are safe, and your bunnies have been fine on them for three years, I don't think I would be too worried.

Do you have a link for the study? Ours get carrots in tiny amounts several times a week...

It was one of the pet pages on facebook, I wouldn't have a clue where to start to find it, but it was saying that root veg is 'bad' for them because in the wild, they wouldn't eat the root veg..... but in small amounts im sure its fine, I thjink it was referring to giving alot of root veg... mine get small bits of swede and they're fine x

A regular bunny visitor of mine absolutely loves parsnip!!! Only a small piece every so often though.

Estelle and Frankie also love a small piece now and then.:thumb:

Thanks everyone xx
