I notice in the past 2 weeks, both buns are "grooming" the cabinet and the wooden waitscot on the wall. I don't understand why this happens all of a sudden. anyone has any idea?

They can smell a scent so they are licking it or they can smell what they think is food so they are licking it.

it has to be more than that. As the cabinet is 24 yr. old, the wood wainscot is about 10 yr. Nothing have changed. And these 2 buns has been adopted from SPCA for a few yr. Nothing has changed

no, I never give my bun a salt lick in the past 20+ yr. why would any bun needs it
