separating mum and kits ?

Hi, I'm currently fostering a mum and 4 kits. They are approximately 4 ? weeks old and drinking from the water bottle and eating pellets......My question is this: mum gave birth to 6 more babies :roll: Can I keep the original kits on their own and leave mum with new babies? NB these were 'accidental' babies and mum was obviously left with dad after original were born sigh TIA
