Rabbit hutches on Groupon

Morning all

Groupon have just launched a deal for a variety of rabbit hutches, none of which meet recommended standards.

The customer service number is 020 3510 0444. Phone lines are normally open Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm, but NOT on Bank Holidays.

Obviously I will give them a call tomorrow when the customer service lines reopen but maybe if enough of us raise concerns the deal will be cancelled.

I just wanted to bring to your attention that these hutches

are well below the Rabbit Welfare Association recommendation of a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft hutch permanently attached to an 8ft x 4ft run. You are condemning the rabbits who live in them to a lifetime of discomfort and spinal problems
Obviously there are no laws to protect rabbits so you can do what you like, but please could you at least post a disclaimer stating that the RWAF recommendation is a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft hutch permanently attached to an 8ft x 4ft run and a hutch like this should only be used as a shelter inside a larger enclosure ?
