some of you may know i bought dillion from p@h a year ago now (i know pet shop bun not very sensible but i fell in love) and i did ask all the right kind of questions and on the whole most of the advice was pretty acurate apart and it's a pretty big mistake the told me he was a cross neterland dwarf and he wouldn't get any bigger.
well he now huge (well bigger than i imagined) i take him to a pretty rabbit savvy vet only she was on holiday this week so i got a locum (nothing serious by the way was just a bit worried about his claws) well this new vet is like he's definitely crossed by one of the larger breeds of buns and they require specialist care. he made me feel totally inadequate as a bunny mummy was just wondering if he's right? is there anything i should be doing that i'm not my normal vet says he's perfectly healthy and although he is big he's not a giant.
he's around 4.2-4.4 kg is about 2 and a half feet long stretched out is that normal or is he just overweight have made an appointment with regular vet for when she comes back but any advice til then will be hugely appreciated
