Does anyone know why it is given into the lateral thoracic wall as opposed to the 'scruff' ? Is it because Eravac contains a mineral oil ?

Cylap, one of the 'old' RHD1 Vaccines was oil based and it was known to cause horrific skin reactions and a post vaccination limp. So does administering a vaccine containing a mineral oil into the lateral thoracic wall reduce the risks of adverse local reactions ?
