The first hutch I bought I took back after a month as it leaked when it rained and the ramp broke off ( wasnt my DIY skills it was just very flimsy!). Swapped it for the double storey Primrose Cottage, which my foster bun uses now. Yes, the locks aren't that great - we have replaced some and also added clasps and padlocks to all the doors.
Also, the wood used to make the bedroom area is a bit pathetic. It gave up the ghost after a year, even after we tried to reinforce it. Other than that its been fine and seems sturdy. I would recommend using a wood preserver and a hutch cover though.
I think if I needed another hutch I would spend a bit more and get a better quality one made to my own spec. However the hutches at P@H are much bigger than those for sale at the other pet shops by me.
