New Kit
Hi im new to this so hope im doing it right. I recently purchase a nine week old english/deutch dwarf lop from my local pet shop. On sunday i took her to the emergency vet as i noticed that she had white mucus coming from her nose and thought the worst like you do. she was diagnosed with a bacterial infection and was given 5 days worth of antibiotics. Since then she has been fine but today i noticed that on the back of her head her fur is very sparse, skin very pink and the skin is a bit flaky in an area. Could this be because she is a little run down or she's scratching due to bordam as she isnt around other rabbits, or something else? Has anyone any advise please as i havent had a rabbit before and im slightly paranoid.
Plus after only getting her saturday and having to take her to the vets sunday plus having to give her antibiotics everyday she hasnt been able to settle in quietly and is a little scared of me (totally understandable) she has one more day if antibiotics left any tips of what i can do to make settle in a bit better?
