I would have no idea where to start with foraging
I have about 5 things I pick regularly that are quite easy to identify.
Dandelions - I'm sure you know what they're like
Plantain - ribbed leaves, normally in lawns or grass paths
Brambles - thorny leaves that have a soft velvety back
Nettles - Dead nettles I feed fresh, they don't sting, they usually have flowers and the stems are squarer. Stingers I've been tying up to dry.
Goosegrass - the sticky stuff that sticks to your clothes
Oh and once our rose bushes start flowering I'll nick some of their petals too I've also bought a few small herb plants for £1.50 each as a bit of an investment for next year.
