That's a mighty fine looking pair of Dutchies they are such a clever breed full of character, my two never failed to amaze me, Mary is five in a couple of months and still runs round acting like a kitt!

Vampire Bunny

Had a trip to the Vets last week for their annual check up and vaccs. Milli needs to lose weight lol.
We're back on the 16th for part one of the RHVD2? Vaccination.

I had a Dutchie and he was awesome. I know we're not supposed to have favourite breeds but these are mine. Yours ares stunning and SO cheeky looking.

Just read through this whole thread. Milli and Poppy are so so so so beautiful. I love their set up. A very enjoyable thread. Frosty and Snowflake are half dutch (half lionhead) not that you can tell from their markings, just what the pet shop told me (impulse buys).

I love dutch rabbits, and belgian hares ...

I've never had any problems with my Dutchies with regards to ears and teeth. My current Dutch Mary is inseparable from her grey lop beau Ronnie!

My two bridge buns were mini lops.Cleo died aged four from severe bloat,and Rio died suddenly after a collapse aged eight.He had a couple of dentals after aged six.No ear problems etc,I supposes it's down to luck at times.Though I know it's stated flatter faced buns etc get more dental problems.

Touch wood, had no problems with their dentals. The Vet was very pleased with them both last week, althoguh Milli (smaller one) had put some weight on

They are absolutely precious!!! My boys, sadly at the bridge now, were Dutchies. Such beautiful and characterful little critters. How do you tell your girls apart - their marking look ever so similar?

They are absolutely precious!!! My boys, sadly at the bridge now, were Dutchies. Such beautiful and characterful little critters. How do you tell your girls apart - their marking look ever so similar?

Milli is actually a boy lol... Telling the different is quite easy. Poppy is a lot larger and has more white on her face, where as Milli is smaller with not as much white .

It was easy telling the difference between my two, Mary is black/white, Betty was blue/white.

I echo this. My first ever bunny, Rosie, was a Dutch - I do have a soft spot for Dutch bunnies.

I've read somewhere that Nancy's markings (white nose and one white paw) mean she has some Dutch in her and Will's a Netherland Dwarf which I'm constantly reminded of when I say I want 2 more bunnies who are Dutchies.
