Jessica's making a nest

Jessica has started to behave very strangely.

She is pulling all her fur out and making a nest with it :shock:

She lives on her own so she can't be having babies :? Do you all think this is just a 'spring' thing?

I would think it's probably due to the weather being a bit warmer... well it was last week! So yep I'd say a 'Spring Thing'

Is she spayed?

If not its a pseudo-pregnancy and spaying her will stop them occuring

Jessica hasn't been spayed.

She is off to the vets on Saturday for her myxi jab so we will talk to the vet about getting her spayed.

Scratch is a female who is not yet spayed. She does this too. Definitely nesting and she has started to spray too. She got me right in the face and hair one morning when she was sat on top of the hutch and I was bent down putting food in her bowl. :roll: Had to go and wash my hair before I went to work, it was horrible!! She is definitely being "done" as soon as the weather warms up a bit.
