Is farm hay really ok?

Mind prefer hay from farm bales. they can turn it into nests, burrow through it and nom it. Given the amount of hay they get through its far more economical too. Teasel will only eat long strands of g strands of hay and turns her nose up at short.:roll:

I do cheat and give them a Alfalfa King Timothy Hay as a topping to the farm bale hay and dried wild herbage to forage for.
