How much hay do you use a month?

I have a trio and buy a one of the big packs from Hay for Pets, I think its 16kilos, it just nicely fits in the wheelie bin. I buy one every 4 weeks.

My waste all goes in the compost for our allotment.

My 6 rabbits and 2 pigs go through a bale every two weeks

Do you get much wasted hay? That seems to be a similar amount to me. I havent been able to cut back their portions, it felt all wrong. I give each rabbit its size in hay twice a day plus greens/grass/pellets in the morning and a few bedtime pellets as well (changing them all over to morning pellets gradually).
