Hello,
I hope you don't mind me joining your group but I'm writing a story for a national newspaper about people buying rabbits on a whim over Easter (their own 'Easter Bunnies') then realising they've made a mistake before dumping the poor creature onto a rescue centre (or even straight into the wild).
One of the angles is about pet shops discounting rabbits over Easter to encourage sales - does anyone know of a pet shop that does this? Or has signs up saying things like 'buy a real Easter bunny'?
I'm also looking for a family who've adopted a rescued rabbit to appear in the paper.
You can email me on lorrainefisher@yahoo.com
As I said, I hope it's ok for me to post here - I just figured that if anyone had noticed dreadful shop practices, it would be members of this forum.
Thank you.
Lorraine
