sunflower seeds? I heard that they make their coats shiny, would it be ok for me to give them say, one each a day? x

Sunflower seeds will probably be beneficial to the coat as they are high in oil. They are roughly 60% fat, 20% carbohydrate, and 10% fibre.
Moderation is the best approach, unlimited sunflower seeds in a parrot's diet contributes to obesity. Be sure to only feed hulled seeds as the outer black/white shell could easily impact in the gut, also check they are fresh as older seeds can go rancid. For the small quantity you will need a human health food shop might be better than pet suppliers...better quality!
