Young Bun
Today I tried something different - mixing several goodies together and giving it to George as a kind of salad. Guess what? He loved it! So, I decided to share some recipes I made with you. Be sure to edit the amounts of ingredients to your bun's taste and special diet, and increase the general amount if you have multiple buns. If you make your own recipe, why not share it?
George's Special Snack - Approved by the grumpbag himself
You will need:
2 parts spinach (be careful with this, only give it as an occasional treat)
2 parts curly kale
1 part (or less) apple
1. Shred the curly kale into strips.
2. Chop apple into bitesize pieces.
3. Serve to hungry buns either on a dish or scattered around the run.
Tropical Bananza - tasty and colourful (see what I did there?)
You will need:
1 part banana (daww, they'll be washing their faces after this!)
3 parts carrot leaves
1 part dandelion leaves
1/2 part peppers (mix up the colours for fancy presentation!)
1. Slice banana into circles, then into quarters.
2. If the leaves are quite big, shred them up a little.
3. Serve to hungry buns either on a dish or scattered around the run.
Herby Heaven - not for fussy buns
You will need:
2 parts cauliflower leaves
1 part mint
1 part basil
Nothing fancy, just let the bunnies dig in! Try mixing up the herbs for a tasty variation.
Mellow Munch - for everyday eating
3 parts spring greens
1 part cabbage (alter intake if your bun is prone to stomach upsets)
1 part clover/lavender (whatever is in your garden)
1. Shred cabbage into thick strips.
2. Serve in the spring green leaves for an edible plate!

Hope your bunnies enjoy!
