I give about 5 sticks a day to mine (who don't have pellets, just hay and forage) but I guess it depends on bunny size and activity levels too!

as long as your vet is experienced with rabbits then the neuter op shouldn't be a problem :) also some rescues will help with bonding as well - i was too nervous to do it myself!!

haha! the number of times one of my cats has called off the sofa/bed/shelf and i try to catch them and get bitten in disgust :shock: so ungrateful

did the vet say to start her metacam tonight? if so she may well pick up after her dose and eat a bit more :) its good that she has had some input/output though so i wouldn't worry too much. She should absolutely have a longer course of metacam though, usually 5-7 days. a lot of vets seem to be...

Your parents are required BY LAW to provide necessary veterinary treatment for pets so feeding, watering and letting him out is not enough and you need to keep pestering them to let you take him. Letting him suffer unnecessarily is cruel

i've just seen this thread and i'm so sorry to hear you are going through this :( in case it's any help, a friend of mine had a similar situation with her dog and an unknown mass in his stomach and the vet basically gave the same options. she opted to have the operation and it was a strange...

when i was trying to bond my two i contacted the rwaf and they put me in touch with another member in my area who was willing to help :wave: are you a member of the rwaf? it might be worth trying if so :)

yea we do write instructions to leave with a neighbour, but also i was in for 2 of the missed deliveries! not sure if they just don't bother to ring the bell?? very strange. the bunnies aren't the slightest bit grateful either, of course :roll:

They might use different delivery companies in different areas, or it might just be the Bristol branch that sucks!
