It doesn't have to be expensive, I no longer buy mine toys, they get old catalogues, yellow pages, cardboard tubes stuffed with hay and bits of veg wrapped in brown paper etc to play with. I think she'll be fine now it's getting warmer just make sure her hutch is covered at night and she has plenty of bedding to snuggle down into. It's only bad to put them out when it's still cold and they don't have a winter coat :)

Guess again :lol: I think insurance is worth it's weight in gold, when Poppy got a retrobulbar abscess and needed x rays and referring to a specialist I was so glad that I was insured so I didn't have to think twice about the cost of seeking the best treatment for her. I think her bills came...

Ouch! I think we all expect slight increases year on year but putting them up that much just deters people from looking after their animals properly.

Has anyone elses vets put their prices up ridiculously recently? I took Charlie and Poppy for their myxi jab at the weekend and it was £20 each, last time it was £10 each because there was an offer on to encourage people to get it done but even at full price it was £16. I don't begrudge paying...

I'd definitely be better doing it myself :lol: I gave in and bought a smaller tray that needs emptying everyday, how much do two medium sized buns poop :lol:

It's quite hard to do that without splitting the plastic, I did it with a large tray for my two, its also quite hard to cut across (to get the bottom of the gap) :(

My mum is very attached and has become a fantastic bunny mum, she's done loads of reading etc and is probably spoiling them far more than I do which is funny to say she used to have a bit of a giggle at the way my rabbits were looked after. She has also said she'll get two of her own when I move...
