It could be to do with their positioning in the uterine horns, or it might be that they were conceived slightly later than the bigger ones (depending on how she got pregnant and whether it was planned or not). If they are true runts (and not peanuts) then they should catch up later one

Peanuts have received a dwarf gene from each parent,they are much smaller than normal kits at birth Have other problems -ears can be further back,skulls can bulge etc they will never grow and usually die in a day or so
well the kits are now 3 weeks old
Aroma's first litter had two runts, also since there were 12 of them they were all pretty small except for Niko who was like twice as big as his siblings:shock:
The others caught up with him once they started eating though.
