Please forgive me but this goes back a way.
In April our old rescue bun died. Our Netherlands Dwarf immediately went into decline and as we couldn't find an immediate replacement, we bought one from Pets at Home - a Dwarf Lop (female 13 weeks old) - who isn't a dwarf but that's another story.
Withing a few days the 2 were bonded, but the new rabbit, Tish, started sneezing. Tosh the Netherland dwarf - who is nearly 2 by the way and a neutered male - was due for his jabs so we took them both along and she was put on antibiotic injections every 3 days for about 2 weeks. Then she had her vaccinations, but as we were going away we put of her spayinguntil we came home. We duly went away for 5 days and when we came back, Tosh was chesty and sneezing.
We took him to the vets the next day and he started on antibiotics. When he went for his second injection we took her and she started them too. They had an injection every 3 days for over 3 weeks, but both still sneeze and still have puss coming from their noses.
They both seem really fit otherwise, so she was neutered last Friday. They were going to do a nose swab, but decided that the antibiotics would interfere with it.
Neither of them are getting better. When the vet listens to their chests they are clear - and have been all along.
The talk now is to go to a Rabbit specialist, but how to go about this I don't know.
Can anyone help me with information on how I can help my rabbits, please.
Thanks in advance
