Small orange giraffe
Warren Scout
Jessica is still under 6 months so I leave food for her all the time.
But now we have the gorgeous Jasper, I try to limit this. They both have full run of the garden all day to eat the grass (and my once beautiful plants!) and have access to hay.
I tend to feed them at night before putting to bed - as they both have run of our 3 storey house and garden all day so its kinda hard to try to get them together at the same time every day to give them veggies without the other eating it all.
I'm just wondering that this is probs not very good as they've probs got lots of energy after eating and they get locked in the kitchen - albiet a big kitchen but thats their temporary night time place until I fox proof their hutch/run combo (a whole other thread as boyf and I were discussing foxes and I didn't realise how sneaky and agile they are and the run and hutch aren't secured to each other, so became very worried!).
So am I doing wrong and should I just feed them morning and night - Jessica is almost 6 months now, also where should I feed them to get used to a routine - in the garden?
