Having the snip and bad moods

My bun (who was dumped and we rescued) started coming out of his shell after having him a month or so and was starting to become very placid. He's a house bun and was always interested in what everyone was up to.

Anyay to cut a long story short after we had him neutered he has gone completely into his shell and time is ticking by and he just jumps out of his cage in the morning and will go and sit under the bed upstairs and only come down for food in the evening ane he has become impossible to get near ever since his op, several months later.

We've just moved house, so would like to get him a girlfriend in the near future, but just wondering has anyone else had this problem after neutering as since we did that he has become a completely alien character.

sorry i can't help but <bump> maybe having a girlfriend would bring him back out of himself?

Thanks. We just bought a massive double story hutch and run for him to play around with outside during the day and are going to convert a shed hopefully for him to be safe from foxes at night. It will mean that he's not a house bun anymore, but at least we will be able to have the room for him to have a girlfriend as I really do feel he's missing out on life.

It's either that or prior to us finding him dumped he was treated badly and has an awful fear of humans. Strange thing is, he seems to love our cats though and seems to think he is one!
