Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Rear Guard

Frankie

Young Bun
Hi

I have been checking my bunnies twice a day for fly strike and nothing as yet however over the weekend I tried to apply the rear guard and my bunnies but they did not like it. I’m guessing this was because it was a push down and roll application :?: It clearly distressed them and HP even made some noises i had never heard before

Please can you tell me if there is a spray version out there or a method for applying this roll on. :D

there is a spray application version avalibal. though you may find that your rabbits have an equal dislike of being 'sprayed' with a strong smelling repellant. (my previous 3 used to run when they saw me approach with a spray in hand  . found the 'spot on' stuff easier in the end.
