New hutch - min. sizes?

Joo & Phoebo

Young Bun
Hi all
We would like to get a new hutch for Phoebo with the view to potentially getting him a friend (we have found a rescue centre who can help us with bonding). Can anyone point me in the direction of any posts regarding hutches? Or can you give me a guide of the min. size of a hutch for 2 buns? Phoebo is medium sized, poss. new rabbit - don't know!
Thank you x

I would certainly consider getting a 5 foot length double storey which is 2 foot wide and preferably 2 foot for each storey in height. The height is the thing you may struggle with which is why ARC have ended up having to consider 6 foot ones instead. Or a 6 foot long hutch, again 2 foot deep and 2 foot high.

There are quite a number of places which sell them, all slightly different prices and some charge postage, some not. ARC are probably going to get the 6 foot ones as they are more adaptable for our needs and can be used as 2 hutches with a bit of adaption or can be used for family units.

The other option is to get a 6 x 4 shed

Hope this helps you

many thanks Janice - I like the one on ebay - the others I think are way out of our price rang. What about a hutch and run combo? what sort of size might be best for that?
Thank you x
