Bonding query

I have lots of experience bonding pairs and am not unfamiliar with bonding processes.

I have not however ever bonded more than two rabbits. (If all rabbits in question are neutered) would it be better to bond a pair and a single male bunny into a trio, or two bonded pairs into a quad? Opinions please

We have successful trios and quads on the Forum but I would think trios would be easier ie 2 males and a female, as it's usually the females which are harder to bond.

my trio were awkward to bond (2 does, 1 buck) but then some people manage it in what seems like hours. I've not bonded a quad. I guess it all depends on the rabbits. Not very helpful I know
