Do you think there is a possibility that one rabbit who loves their hay could encourage the other to eat more?

Yep, rabbits like to eat hay together and some people (myself included) have found that a rabbit that doesn't eat much hay picked up a bit once they got a hay-loving partner.

If one of my bunnies is eating the other usually joins in, they don't like to think they're missing out! :lol:

Possibly. I'm not sure why it is. The rwaf does say that single buns experience higher levels of stress, so maybe that's a factor.

I guess it may be a bit like, when we humans are lonely and stressed, we feel like icecream/cake not a plate of vegetables.
