Beautiful bunnies!!!

Is the flooring you're using the stuff you buy for children that are like soft plastic foam? Is it any good? I'm currently looking for some flooring for the run which is on decking at the moment.

It is, EVA foam it's called. Seems to be good at the moment: no nibbling on it from our buns (although I'm told some buns do like to try and nibble on it) and it cleans up really well with a steam mop so I don't need to use any chemical disinfectants as an added bonus, not on the run floor anyway.

Is that flooring safe for rabbits if chewed then? It looks like really lovely stuff :p

Thanks :) it's a welfare hutches job. They've been really good: they even made up an extra panel for us so we can separate them for a while post neutering.

It's non toxic and designed to be safe for human babies to chew on (they make those bath time books out of it too) and I know a few other people are using it but I'd be inclined to be wary if your buns are chewers. If you position it carefully then you should be able to avoid leaving any bits they can get a grip on to chew.

What pretty rabbits. Good run too. Like the sound of Welfare Hutches from other threads as well.
