Space...the final frontier.....(cue Star Trek theme)
My two indoor cats love for me to put their nip in a cardboard tray from the water bottles we buy, leaving the plastic on, they try to wrestle it out from under it. My Griffy cat just goes nuts, rolling around, batting at it, flipping over...suddenly he'll stop and fly off the counter and spazz through the room with his tail waving like a flag...it's hilarious. For a 12 year old cat, he still acts like he's 4.
Then when the sedation hits it's total...for HOURS.
My other cat is older (14 years) and a little less wacky when she gets catnip, but she sleeps much longer and deeper afterwards. You have to physically pick her up and move her if she conks out in the traffic lane.
